Mandatory Abuse Reporting for Oregon Lawyers

This program will help lawyers spot and comply with their responsibilities under Oregon law as mandatory reporters, while maintaining their legal ethical obligations to clients. Nik Chourey, Deputy General Counsel for the Oregon State Bar, will present this meaningful and practical discussion on:

  1. Why we have reporting laws;
  2. Spotting elder and child abuse;
  3. Complying with mandatory reporting law; and
  4. Understanding and abiding by our ethical duty of client confidentiality.
